Are you looking for inspiration to freshen up the space around you?  If you’re not sure where to begin... don’t underestimate the power of a simple adjective or frame of mind. 

To come up with one ... start by looking around you; gazing out the window, perusing travel photos, or referring to recent activities.

SUMMER,

it’s the time of year that elicits a smile.

Activity. Sunshine. Nature. Growth. Greens.

I find summer to be the most inspiring time. Long days, endless time to dream and actualize all those weather-permitting projects and activities I thought about last season. Why not use these thoughts to transform the space around you?

For example, taking a hike in the forests of the Pacific Northwest fills my arsenal of creativity. Every shade and tone of green exists, juxtaposed with warm earthly hues – while soft organic vegetation contrasts the rough textures of the terrain.

Recently, after a gorgeous day of climbing the mountains with my dogs, I came back to my office and created this material board inspired by my day.
